Groundism is one part of SR Nagar's larger story. Its work matters because a strong neighbourhood makes room for every family, every memory and every person who calls it home.

A neighbourhood becomes a force when people refuse to look away.
Groundism was built through physical community networks: meetings on the ground, phone calls, notices on walls and people who simply turned up. Very little of that effort made it online.
This page is the beginning of the record. It will be reconstructed from the memories and archives of the people who were there. Their voices, not anyone's guesswork, will carry the story.
First-hand accounts and archives that tell the full story are still being recorded, and residents are invited to help complete that living record.
