What the festival holds
The one time of year the whole neighbourhood is in the same place.
Sthapana, puja twice a day, children's competitions, music, dance, drama, annadanam, and a stage that belongs to anyone from SR Nagar who wants it. All of this leads to the Nimarjanam procession on Sunday, September 20.
The Utsav dates are confirmed. The detailed programme, timings and running order are being finalised by the committee and will be published on the Programme page.
Sthapana
The installation and the first maha puja, on Chaturthi morning.
Daily puja and aarti
Morning and evening, open to everyone in the colony.
Children's days
Fancy dress, drawing and rangoli, with prizes.
Music and dance
Devotional singing, classical recitals, group performances, an open stage.
Annadanam
Community meals through the festival, run by volunteers.
Nimarjanam
The visarjan procession from the ground on Sunday, September 20.
