Background · SR Nagar Utsav archive
- When is the Utsav this year?
- Ganesh Utsav runs from Monday, September 14 to Sunday, September 20, 2026. Nimarjanam is on Sunday, September 20. The detailed programme and timings are being finalised and will appear on the Programme page.
- Is the festival open to everyone?
- Yes. Darshan, aarti and annadanam are open to anyone who comes to the ground, resident or not.
- Can I perform?
- If you are from SR Nagar, yes. Fill in the form on the Perform page. It reaches the committee, who decide the running order and contact you directly. Registering does not confirm a slot.
- How do I volunteer?
- Use the Volunteer page. Tell us what you are willing to do and when you are free; the committee will call you closer to the time.
- Can I donate through this website?
- No. There is no online payment on this site and there will not be until a proper account and a published ledger exist. Anyone asking you to pay through a link claiming to be this site is not us.
- Where exactly is the ground?
- Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar, Hyderabad. We have not published a map pin or gate-by-gate access notes yet because we would rather do it once, accurately, with the committee.
- Who runs the Utsav?
- A volunteer committee of residents. The current members are not listed here yet. We will publish them once we have their agreement to be named.
- Something on this page is wrong.
- Tell us and we will fix it. Every page on this site has a corrections route, and festival details matter more than most.
Location and access
The Utsav is held at the SR Nagar Ground, Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar, Hyderabad. We have not published a map pin, gate details or parking notes yet. We would rather do that once, accurately, with the committee, than post directions that send people to the wrong entrance on the busiest evening of the year.
